Our Chairman

Bien today is retired and a lively man with his family living in Shah Alam area. He is ever ready with lots of fun and interesting stories, past and present.

Dear Friends

Let me first of all thank those who attended the first committee meeting of the ‘ChuaCC Fund’ and elected me as the first Chairman. Needless to say ,I am deeply touched and honoured by this magnanimous gesture! I can see that the principles, inculcated at our Alma Mater, of respecting age before beauty is still very much alive and this augurs well for the venture which we are embarking.

As I mentioned at our gathering, for the undertaking to be successful long-term,we need to disseminate the information of what we are doing more widely to old Macsians. It does not matter regarding the size of our individual contributions ,but to encourage as many as possible to make regular contributions according to our means. Remember the ‘little drops of water and the little grains of sand’ taught to us in our first year in school?

I look foreward to meeting more of you in future gatherings. Hopefully we can all be at the first planned memorial service for ChuaCC scheduled for June.

Best wishes to one and all.
Bien – 1955

The bank account no. will be available this week and will be posted in this blog. and we hope those of you who had pledged will then bank the money into this account.

Later that afternoon there was a coffee meeting at Ray Ong’s coffee bar at the PJ Emcorp Mall when Bert Tan arrived from Malacca. In the evening Bien was the host to a dinner at the Subang Golf Club. It was a happy day for all the friends of ChuaCC.
