22 Friday first meeting

chualogo-copy

Hello Everyone

I am a bit of an “outsider”,being from a much earlier generation. However,I share a common bond with all of you through knowing the late ChuaCC,quite intimately I might add, and having attended the good old ACS,Melaka.

I agree with Victor that we should go ahead with the planned gathering on 22/5 and appoint/elect the Committee to set up the Fund, so that those who wish may commence channelling their contributions towards it. Even if only 4 or 5 of us can meet up ,we can get the Fund moving. I fear any delay may exclude my participation, as every new day is a blessing – when you are my age!

See you on Friday. (Cherry Cake House, noon, 58 Jln 1/19, PJaya, )
Bien

Rescue Me
Dear Uncle Bien,

The last we met you were hale and hearty. We look forward to enjoying many more years of your wisdom. There are also those yet to be told stories of good old’ days and beyond. Thank you for your active participation in this special effort to carry on Mr Chua’s tradition of doing well.

To all our friends sharing this common bond of friendship and Mr Chua’s goodwill, I wish to extend my sincere appreciation for your valuable input and act of charity without which this effort will not be successful. Let us do what we can and continue to spread the news to our classmates and friends. This effort of ours is contagious and like a smile will soon catch on. Who knows, our aid can help alleviate the financial distress of some needy ones in ACS(P) Melaka, rekindle their spirits or give hope for the future.

I will miss the meeting but I know it is in good hands. I will be kept posted I am sure via e-mails and the update on the blog.

All the best,

Eng

I noticed that Oh KL has responded to my e-mail seeking support. He is my junior and due to an unfortunate accident was paralyzed from shoulder downwards. It is very kind of him to have responded. He now earns a living giving Bahasa tuition and is very much sought after.

We should pay him a visit when we are in M’cca.
