Chua Cheng Chye (standing at left) was the class teacher for Standard 1B in 1949. The Malacca ACS school principal then was Mr Charles E. Shumaker (standing at right).

In 1963, Messrs Chua Cheng Chye and Chye Khooi Khean co-wrote The ACS Song.
Chua Cheng Chye loved music and singing, and this was fittingly one of his legacies.

I have just received a contribution of RM490.00 from Malacca ACS old boy Tommy Chen through Ben Toh to the ChuaCC Fund. Tommy had recently learnt about our ChuaCC Fund and volunteered to contribute from proceeds of his recent Koi Art Exhibition held at Ben’s The Refinery Art Gallery at d7 Sentul East, KL. Tommy Chen, from Class of 1980 -1985, graduated from the Fine Art Department, Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA) in 1990 and has been committed to Nishikigoi Koi fish painting for the past 23 years. Currently, he operates Mckoi Studio located at18-C, Jalan Langgak Bukit off Jalan Setapak, 53000 Kuala Lumpur.
